Setup is done via a terminal, allowing the operator to navigate through the intuitive menu.
In contrast, a mini-transmitter is used for pressing the keys. Since this operation mainly takes place inside the organ, the smallest possible remote controls are used. The functions are reduced to what is actually needed:

  • One step backwards or Forwards
  • step sizes, half tone
  • whole tone
  • minor third
  • major third
  • single tone

And last but not least, there is also the option of manually pressing or releasing the current key. You can give your ears a break, if pipe optimisation is necessary.

If an organ is built in accordance with the BDO standards, only the lowest key needs to be approached. With the input of the key range, the Key Holder calculates the key width and the upper and lower limit itself. In other cases, e.g. historical organs, the Key Holder adjusts the key width itself. This is achieved by getting the deepest and the highest key. Even setting short octaves is not a problem.

Therefore, the Tastenhansel is not limited to any manual ranges or button widths.
The maximum range for the manual is e6 (will such an organ ever be built?), for the pedal up to gis1.

Even the smallest organs can be tuned, as there are no minimum limits, neither in the pedal nor in the manual.
As this device can be used for both manual and pedal, the operation is the same in both.
You do not need to learn any more nor other functions.
