How should this investment count?

That's a good question, because nobody has too much money.
At this point, we deliberately don't want to present sample calculations, according to the motto "Do not trust a calculation that you have not forged yourself".

How about this approach:

  • Ultimately, it's not the working hours alone. The main costs are likely to be in travel and expenses, twice as much for two people, not to mention any overtime premium. Hardly any organ is likely to be in your area, so food and lodging will invariably be required.

Perhaps organ maintenance contracts can also be reviewed:
If the community does not longer need to provide a human key holder, they maybe willing to pay slightly more. In this case this would be your financial benefit in paying of the Key Holder.

Ultimately, working with the Key Holder is certainly more effective and therefore faster, making the Key Holder available for multiple visits – perhaps another organ on the same day – whilst its human counterpart lays in bed, fast asleep!
